Refurbishment of Space and Supply of Functional Furniture

The main aim of the project was to completely renovate the social areas – living room, dining room and kitchen – with special attention to replacing obsolete furniture with contemporary and functional solutions. The intervention was guided by the need to update dated and darkened environments, improving spatial fluidity and organisation by providing customised furniture and reorganising functions.

One of the biggest challenges was reconciling the opposing styles of the residents: one more decorative and colourful, the other more sober and minimalist. The preservation of the original carpet, with its strong visual charge, became an anchoring element for the colour palette and overall composition.

Kitchen Intervention

Supply of Integrated Furniture with Multifunctional Solutions
The kitchen, which was originally unbalanced due to the absence of furniture on one of the walls, underwent a major reorganisation. The solution was to design and supply a multifunctional piece of furniture that integrates a coffee area and a worktop that simultaneously serves as a dining area. This piece made it possible to maximise a previously underused space, introducing order, functionality and identity to the environment..

Intervention Area and Constraints

Supply of Furniture to be Installed in Habitable Space
With the flat inhabited throughout the construction work, it was essential to ensure rigorous planning, both in terms of logistics and execution, to minimise the impact on the clients’ routine. The delivery and assembly phases of the furniture were coordinated with precision, ensuring that the process ran smoothly.

Distinctive Features

The project is distinguished by the supply of bespoke furniture, with an emphasis on oak woodwork, carefully lit with dimmable LED systems. The new furniture continuously surrounds the fireplace, creating a clean and sophisticated visual focus. The old display cabinet was replaced by a customised piece with a dual function – display and wine cellar – which modernised the space and increased its usability.

Furniture Supply as a Spatial Qualification Strategy

More than an aesthetic renovation, this project demonstrated how the provision of carefully designed and implemented furniture can redefine the experience of a space. Vangor’s intervention resulted in a balanced response to the couple’s real needs, offering intelligent solutions that combine functionality, style and permanence.
